Each sail is unique and has lived a life on the water before becoming a LI/NE bag. While LI/NE washes all of their sails prior to sewing, each bag will have its own distinct patina and character marks. We celebrate this as a sign of past adventures, an indication of their upcycled nature and another feature that makes each LI/NE bag truly one of a kind.

Please note, since each bag is one-of-a-kind, the image in the product listing is for style reference only. Each bag will have all of the design features and colours pictured, however, since all sails are different and each bag is made from a unique sail, the material and surface details on each bag will differ. For example, the sailcloth may or may not have visible stitching, hardware, or telltales (a telltale is a bit of colourful yarn attached with a cute little circle that helps sailors determine how a sail is performing in the wind!) and the exact placement of the colourful elements may vary. Colourful elements will have a zig zag stitch at the border (not pictured).
